Pepper Steak

Ingredients:
*2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
*3 lbs sirloin steak (cut into strips--butcher can do this for you)
*5-6 cloves of garlic
*1 medium onion, chopped
*1/2 cup soy sauce
*2 teaspoons sugar
*1 teaspoons salt
*1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
*1/2 teaspoons black pepper
*3 green bell peppers, cut into strips
*1/4 cup cold water
*1 tablespoon cornstarch

Directions:
1.) Heat oil in large skillet over medium-low heat. Brown steak strips; sprinkle with garlic.
2.) Transfer meat and pan juices to slow cooker. Add onion, soy sauce, sugar, salt, ginger, and black pepper; mix well. Cover and cook on LOW 6-8 hours.
3.) In finial hour of cooking, add bell pepper strips. Before serving, mix together water and cornstarch, stir into slow cooker. Cook on HIGH 10 minutes or until thickened.
4.)  Serve over hot rice.

Do the prep work the night before!
