Strawberry Shortcake Squares

Ingredients:
*64 Nilla Wafers, divided
*1/4 cup sugar, divided
*5 tablespoon butter, melted
*2 1/2 cups cold milk
*1 1/2 cups Cool Whip--1/2 of an 8 oz. tub
*2 pkg. (4 servings each) Jello Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding and Pie Filling
*3 cups sliced strawberries

Directions:
1.)  crush 40 wafers, mix 3 tablespoons of sugar and the butter until blended
2.)  press firmly into bottom of greased 13 x 9 baking pan
3.)  pour milk into a large bowl; add dry pudding mixes
4.)  beat with a wisk until well blended
5.)  gently stir in Cool Whip
6.)  spread 1/2 of pudding mixture over crust; top with 25 wafers; cover with remaining pudding mixture and refrigerate at least 3 hours
7.)  Toss sliced strawberries with 1 tablespoon sugar; cover those an refrigerate until ready to serve
8.)  to serve--cut into 24 squares and top with strawberries
